In February 2000 in Mexico City, Mexican and Brazilian linguists founded the company "Consultoría Internacional México-Brasil (CIMB-Capacita)", which offered language lessons face-to-face, in companies and at home, as well as translation services.

In 2008 we changed the name CIMB to "CIMEXBRA - Centro de Idiomas México-Brasil" and grew rapidly, being the first Mexican company to offer online private classes by Skype, in addition to face-to-face classes in companies and to individuals. Another important innovation we established that same year, was the creation of our own digital study material, giving students, both on-site and online, the possibility of consulting and downloading it from our website.
